Located inside Montjuic’s Castle, in the mountain of the same name, Barcelona’s Military Museum has a big collection of ancient weapons: pistols, swords, machine guns, mortars, cannons, etc. It has also a collection of ancient Spanish flags, military uniforms and miniatures representing old battles. The entrance ticket is really cheap, we payed only 1.5 euros last january.

You can get there on the little train or the buses that part from Plaça Espanya. Another option is taking the Montjuic’s Funicular and then using the cable car - if you’re not afraid of heights. It’s a really nice trip, not only because of the Museum, but also for the very nice sight that you have from the top of Montjuic’s mountain: the port and the Mediterranean, at one side; the city and the Collserola mountains at the other.
